Garden Consultancy

Commissioning a garden consultation gives you the opportunity to better understand the things you would like to change about your garden and the direction to make those changes confidently. You will discover how to create, care for and, most importantly, enjoy your garden. There are enormous benefits to be gained from not only establishing your own garden, but also in being part of its evolution and feeling more confident in your ability to maintain it. Understanding the potential of your garden is enormously empowering and getting the right advice to make it happen in a way that involves your ideas is important. We have an increasing understanding of the impact of gardens and nature spaces on our well-being and our own garden space is a key component, no matter how large or small.

Costs

Initial consultation within a 50 mile radius of Crayke village, Yorkshire – £50 non-refundable deposit. I will arrange a mutually convenient time to visit you and will spend around 2 hours gathering information about your garden and find out what it is that you would like to achieve. (Enquiries from further afield are very welcome – additional travel costs will be charged at 45p/mile after the first 50 miles)
Garden proposal – £500.

Costs are fixed. Return visits whenever you need them, charged at £100 per visit.

This document will be emailed to you within ten days of my visit and will contain all the information you need to enable you to create your own unique and beautiful garden space.

A description of your site with both negatives and positives highlighted
A description of the garden that you will have, incorporating your particular needs and desires
A step-by-step plan on how to achieve transformative results from your garden
An indication of where you will need contractors and/or landscapers to do specific tasks
An estimated timeline from when you begin
Suggested planting lists for your new garden
Email support for up to nine months from when you start
